The day before Monday //

It's been a few days and I haven't had much to say because my mind has been thinking of worst case scenarios for little Noah. Let me explain, Right before Christmas Noah was pretty sick so I took him to his doctor to make sure everything was ok. Luckily, it was just a bad virus along with a yeast infection and he got better soon after. His doctor also examined his abdomen and had a concern that his liver and spleen were swollen. So he wanted us to get some blood work done just to make sure everything was ok. Then follow up with another appointment to check the swelling.
So little Noah had his blood drawn with the tiniest of the pediatric needles. He did so good and both Sasuke and Noah got a sucker after wards. (The nurses seriously were the cutest, sweetest beings to my boys) Later that day our nurse called us back and told us that his blood work came back just fine but wanted us to still come to do a follow up appointment. So Friday I ( and I alone) took Noah and Sasuke back in to the doctor. After waiting an hour in the waiting room (which never happens) trying to keep my two year old happy along with my 10 month old. As I'm running out of treats, funny jokes, games on my phone become less entertaining, trying to keep Noah on my hip, Sasuke trying to escape and run the fastest he's ever ran in his life down the hallway, drawing on every scrap of paper/ receipt that's in my purse, trying to avoid Sasuke going on the chairs where the 'sick children' sit. (Ya know where patients come in that are sick with some bug) you don't want them touching anything to avoid catch in anything. Starting to sweat like I just did a work out cause I'm carrying everyone's coats/ lives in my purse, we are finally called back.  ( I realize that was a very long ongoing sentence but whatever)

So, times ticking as a Sasuke melt down is slowly approaching. (my sweet mother in law offered to come take Sasuke but I said I could do it!) luckily the melt downs were minor and it was fine.

Im hesitating to even write about it cause I have No idea, yet, of what's going on and I don't want to make it a big deal if it's not. Dr. Hurley comes in and talks to me a little and checks Noah then proceeds to tell me that he's concerned because Noah's liver and spleen are more swollen then they were a month ago..and he would like us to go to a specialist at Primary children's for Hematology. So he got us an appointment. I DONT KNOW! My appointments tomorrow - when I called the lady back for our appointment the machine said Primary children's  blood, cancer, and bone marrow! That freaked me out. I have absolutely no idea what it could be or maybe it's nothing but this weekend wait has been killing me. And I've been reading way too many things searching liver and spleen swollen in a baby. Like I said, I hesitate writing about it. But I want my blog to be able to share about anything and hoping people can relate to my struggles and my happiness as well. So I'm so nervous and scared.. We will know tomorrow!

Hope your weekend has been good so far and ya know, go Seahawks!!
